Initial Concept
We always like to start with an initial meeting with you at your offices or ours to understand:
•
The property’s target customer
• The local area
• Your specific needs and requirements, and
• Your budget and timescale
We return to the design studio with your houseplans to then go about creating your individual design scheme. This will consist of wall coverings, paint colours, furniture, curtains and blinds, bedding, cushions, and lighting. Furniture and accessories can be provided on a rental basis if this works better for you.
The designer of the scheme will present it to you on a series of montage boards which we will then leave with you, along with a detailed quotation. This gives you the chance to mull them over and let us know if you would like some fine tuning.
Our design service is free of charge and without obligation.
Should you wish, we can also help you to select tiling and kitchens from your ranges,
to suit the scheme.
When you give us the go ahead we schedule a date for installation to fit in with your build completion and launch date. Such dates often shift, and we will obviously adjust our diary to suit you.
We will come and measure the property for curtains, blinds, and flooring.
With accurate dimensions in hand we will then set about ordering everything for the showhome.
Wallpapers and fixed lighting (with light bulbs!) will be sent direct to your site in time for your decorators and electricians. A full decoration schedule will be provided for your decorator.
This details paintcolours required, and gives directions on what and where to wallpaper.
Your electrician will also be provided with a schedule of what to fit where.
In the meantime, our team will be busily collating together the many interesting and varied accessories that will bring the property to life.
ImplementationOn installation day, everything is brought to site using our own vans and our own crew.
We will arrive early so that, in most cases, everything is installed and dressed in a single day.
We clean after ourselves, leaving you a beautiful finished showhome ready for you to open to your customers.
And after that?We are often asked to transfer a showhome to another plot when the original plot is sold.
This is very cost effective, and it is always our aim to do this with minimal additional expenditure, unless you are looking for a brand new scheme.
At the very end, when the last properties are sold, we will come and do a takeout of the furniture and accessories. If they have been on rental, there is no charge for a takeout.
