How We Work


I believe it is important to develop a strong working relationship with clients and listen well to understand their requirements.

Initial Concept

I always like to start with an initial meeting with you at your offices to understand:

  • You and your company
  • Your target customer
  • Your development’s local area
  • Your specific needs and requirements, and
  • Your budget and timescale

Armed with your brief and a set of house plans, I work at my design studio to personally create you an individual interior for your showhouse. This can consist of wallpapers, paint colours, furniture & accessories, curtains & blinds, bedding, cushions & throws, lighting and prints & mirrors. Furniture and accessories can either be purchased, or provided on a rental basis if this works better for you.

My design service is FREE of charge and without obligation.

When your design is complete I will return and present it to you personally, on a series of montage boards. These will be left with you, along with a detailed quotation, to give you the chance to mull them over and decide if you’d like any fine-tuning.

Should you wish, I can also assist in the selection of wall tiles and kitchens from your ranges, to suit the scheme.

Order Process

When you give the go ahead we agree a date for installation to fit in with your build completion and launch date. Such dates often shift, and we will obviously adjust our diary to suit you.

We will then take detailed measures of your property so that orders can be placed. With accurate window dimensions in hand our soft furnishing makers can start to make your made-to-measure curtains and blinds.

Wallpapers will be sent direct to your site in time for your decorator. Our decoration schedule provides reference codes of any paint colours required, along with instructions on where to hang wallpaper. Ceiling lighting (with light bulbs) will also be sent to site direct, and your electrician provided with photos of each light fitting and a schedule of what to fit where.

In the meantime, I will be busy collating the many interesting and varied accessories, table lighting and wall art that will bring your property to life.


On installation day, everything is brought to site using our own vehicles and crew. We will arrive early so that everything is installed and dressed in the minimum time possible; often as quick as one day depending on the size of the property. We tidy up after ourselves, leaving you a beautiful showhome ready for you to open to your customers.

And after that?

We are often asked to transfer a showhome to another plot when the original one is sold. This is very cost effective for you, and it is always our aim to do this with minimal additional expenditure.

At the very end, when the last properties are sold, we will come and remove all the furniture and accessories that on rental. If you have purchased, then we can offer you storage options should this be helpful.
