Perhaps you have seen on of our showhomes, and would like a similar look and feel. Or maybe you have lots of ideas of your own but just don’t know whether to begin.
Whatever your style and taste, I will work with you to develop a living space suited to you and your family’s lifestyle. You may have existing pieces that you wish me to work around – an antique rug or a much loved sofa – and this is absolutely fine. What I won’t do is impose my own taste upon you as I want the finished result to reflect your taste and personality.

Free initial consultation
I offer a free initial consultation in the comfort of your home and takes around 60-90 minutes. This would occur between 9am and 5pm on a weekday, and within a 10 mile drive from Woking. I am happy to travel further afield for a nominal mileage charge of 45p + VAT per mile. Evening meetings or weekends are £55 + VAT per hour.
At this first meeting we will discuss your requirements and go through your likes and dislikes. I will explain how my service works and talk through any budget that you have in mind.
If your budget is tight, you want minimal disruption, or you simply want to try me out, we can go forward on a room-by-room basis.
Design fees (from £250 + VAT)
Following on from our initial consultation, for an agreed fee I will prepare your design scheme and make a return visit to your home to present it to you. This might include fabrics, flooring, lighting, paints & wallpapers, as well as furniture and finishing touches such as cushions & artwork.
My fees are dependent on the size and complexity of the project but generally prices start from:
- One room £250 + VAT
- Each room thereafter £225 + VAT
- Whole house (4 – 6 rooms) £950 + VAT
There is no extra charge for additional meetings for a particular room, as I want us to keep working together until we both agree on the perfect look. Depending on the overall cost of the project, some or all of the design fee will be refunded to you if you proceed.
Once a design has been agreed, I will take detailed measurements of the relevant windows and living space to then prepare a detailed breakdown of costs which you will receive in the form of a written quotation.
House doctoring (£55 + VAT per hour)
About to put the house up for sale but you need to de-clutter and improve its overall appeal? I provide a house doctoring service, whereby I visit your property and make suggestions as to how to do this.
There will be no charge for my travel time if the property is within a 10 mile drive from Woking. I am happy to travel further afield for a nominal mileage charge of 45p + VAT per mile.
E-decor (from £190 + VAT)
Would you rather just have some specific ideas but be left to obtain everything yourself? In which case, e-decor can be a fun way to achieve your new interior. Working to your brief I will prepare a styleboard & shopping list which will be emailed to you in the form of a PDF. You are then free to purchase those items from whoever you choose, but if you buy through me, then some or all of the design fee will be refunded to you, depending on the level of spend.
Please note that this type of consultation does not normally involve a return visit to your house, hence the reduced design fees as follows:
- One room £190 + VAT
- Each room thereafter £170 + VAT
- Whole house (4 bedrooms) £750 + VAT
Personal shopping (£55 + VAT per hour)
Sometimes a customer just wants a helping hand when it comes to shopping for furnishings for their home. So I offer a service whereby we visit showrooms and retailers together, and I help you select the right things.
The fee for this service would be £55 + VAT per hour plus travel expenses of 45p + VAT per mile mileage (+ car parking & train fares if applicable).
Project management (from £55 + VAT per hour)
If your project is large, then I can oversee the management for you, either in its entirety, or in part, and collaborate with other professionals and tradespeople such as architects, decorators, kitchen & bathroom companies, cabinet makers, and others on your behalf to ensure design coherence, quality and coordination with regards on-time delivery. The cost for this would be dependant on my level of involvement.
